The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Garris officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cindy Chaplin Memorial Fund through the funeral home. Survivors include her mother, Wilma Chaplin of Seymour; son, Cody W. (Michelle) Gilley of North Vernon; daughters, Amanda J. (Crystal) Lanham of French Lick and Miranda (Dustin Clark) Gilley Columbus; companion, Larry Atwood of Elizabethtown; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Chaplin; and a sister, Beck Ault.
