Sluder, 46, of Butlerville, died at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born on February 4, 1971, in Columbus, IN, to Arlon Jackson Fields and Mary Ann (Williams) Dile. Larry loved watching wrestling, animals, music, cruising and collecting. He loved spending time with his family. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Fields officiating. Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at New Harmony Cemetery. Larry is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Dile and stepfather, Ray Dile; daughter, Brittany (Alexander Trilling) Sluder of Seymour, IN; brothers, Scott Herron of Columbus, IN, Arlon (Sharon Lucas) Williams of Butlerville, IN; sisters, Shelly (Pat) Owens of Columbus, IN, Candy Fields of Osgood, IN, Leada (Dean) Carr of Nashville, IN; Dodie Dile of Columbus, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Arlon Jackson Fields.

Larry was a good hearted down to Earth guy. He had a good work ethic and was an honest person with an amazing attitude. Completely amazing. Larry Sluder exemplified integrity and set an excellent example for everyone by his quality of character. Most people aren’t worth much of anything but Larry sure was!
