To view Josephine's memorial video, please CLICK HERE.    Josephine Anne “Jo” Scoggan, 57, of Birchwood St. Columbus, passed away at 3:40 A.M. February 2, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.Josephine was born June 14, 1959 in Columbus, the daughter of Charles H. and Mary R. Weisenberger Buckles. She married Harold W. Scoggan on September 18, 1999. Josephine was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, and was an artist and enjoyed gardening.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Calling will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. A Rosary Service will be performed Monday at 7:30 P.M at the funeral home. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the Josephine A. Scoggan Memorial Fund thru the funeral home.Survivors include her husband, Harold; brothers Chuck Buckles of Michigan, and Don (Cindy) Buckles of Columbus; sisters Betty Proffitt of Columbus, Ellen (Larry) Stout of Austin, Indiana, and Wendy Wright of Seymour; several nieces and nephews; as well as her two cats, Tori and John Boy.She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Phil Buckles; and a sister Dottie Patton.
