SERVICE: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Rick Glowacki VISITATION: 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home Leah D. Martin, age 46, of Union Street, passed away January 5, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born June 20, 1970, in Columbus. Leah is survived by her mother, Ronda (Martin) Illig and her husband Jim; sons, Kedric Martin of Columbus and Christopher Wilson of Texas; daughters, Jasmyne Martin and Jayla Frietzsche both of Columbus; sisters, Neah Martin (her twin) and Jamie Rose, both of Columbus and a brother, Brian Martin of Columbus. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Dre`Von Martin, Jaysic Banks, Aniyah Banks, Kamara Martin, Maddyx Banks and Aria Wilson. Leah was preceded in death by her father, James A. Martin on October 31, 2008, and her niece, Tori Martin on June 23, 2011.

I wentbro school with leah and her sister from kindergarten to high school it breaks my heart for her family I love you Rhoda and I’m praying for you and Neah I know that God will up hold and be beside you both my prayers are with you love you both leah was a beautiful girl inside and out..
Fond memories Leah and her sister hanging out at Jefferson school play ground and Donner pool in my younger days. Sorry to here of her passing and thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
