Hermine L. Czerny

Hermine L. Czerny, 83, of Central Avenue, passed away peacefully December 5, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Hermine was born September 19, 1933, in Sibiu, Romania, the daughter of Gustav and Hermine Leonhardt. She married Rudolf Czerny June 19, 1950, in Germany. Hermine, Rudolf and their daughters, Sigrid and Brigitte, immigrated to the United States in 1956 and settled in Indianapolis where their son David was born. Survivors include her husband, Rudolf; daughters, Brigitte (Richard) Halvorsen of Columbus and Sigrid Herrington of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Matthew (Rachelle) Byron, Justin Byron, Dillon Czerny, Michael Czerny, Michele (Jason) Schrader, Rachel (Jim) Vaughan, Ryan (Jesse) Heines and Ashley (Samuel) Trisler; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren, who were all loved and adored by their great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David.
