Joan Burnett, 90, of Seymour, died at 3:35 p.m. November 28, 2016, at Seymour Crossing. Joan was born January 6, 1926, in North Vernon, the daughter of Chester William and Beatrice Terrell Randall. She married Billy J. Burnett and he preceded her in death November 13, 2009. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed water aerobics and walking. Survivors include her granddaughter, Chasity Regan (Shawn) Sample of Seymour; great-grandchildren, Corey Scott Sample and Samantha Jo Sample; and great-great-grandchildren, Kylee Jo Erwin, Grayson Sample and Regan Sample. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy; son, Robert Charles Davison; brothers, Alan Lee Randall and Leland Eugene “Bud” Randal; and her sisters, Catherine Mae Higgins, Mary Elaine Shinolt and Lavon “Bonnie” Prewitt.
