Cecil Edward

Cecil Edward Cox, 75, of Edinburgh, died at 5:45 p.m., November 28, 2016, at his home. Cecil was born October 19, 1941 in Columbus, the son of James Herman Cox and Esther (Noel) Cox Johnson.  He married Kim (East) Cox on October 16, 2012. Cecil served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Epperson Painting and was previously employed at Center Line Mold in Edinburgh. Cecil was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge and in his leisure time loved to golf and play cards. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Kim; a son, Cecil “Skip” Cox of Columbus; grandchildren, Ashley Cox, Kelly Cox, Layla James, Izaac Cody, Carter Loudan and Frankie Cody; a cousin, Shila Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Floyd A. Cox.
