Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Tony, Paige, Zane, Maxine and families – it was my honor to have known Milly since 1995 when I began at Richards! We became instant friends, and have remained so through the years. Prayers that you will each cherish your memories of Milly and find strength to face each new day and the challenges it may bring! She was truly a special lady and friend!!!

  2. Last week at our church staff meeting, we were asked to think about someone who shaped our faith walk when we were children. I spoke about Milly. Now that I am a children’s ministry director, Milly’s love, kindness, and ability to make every single child she encountered the most special in the world is my life’s goal. Love you Milly &10084;&65039;

  3. Tony, Zane, Paige and family, I am so sorry to hear of Milly’s passing. It has been many years since I last saw her but she was a great lady. I so enjoyed having her as my Sunday school(youth group leader)teacher. She was a wonderful role model for living a life full of faith. She will be missed.

  4. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I worked with Milly at Richards. She was my son’s first teacher in Columbus, and she made him feel so welcome! She wasn’t just a coworker, but a friend. She will be missed.

  5. I knew Milly from Richards, she had my oldest daughter in class. My daughter had some anxiety issues with school and Milly saw it, and it’s effects immediately and dealt with her with such compassion and understanding, it really touched my husband and I. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Praying you can find some comfort in the many wonderful memories people have, and will share, of Milly.

  6. Milly was the absolute best, she made every student feel special and has a special place in my kid’s heart as well as mine. I can still hear her ask “baby will you get me some coffee, do you have any of that pumpkin spice creamer?” She gave the best arm slaps and the very best hugs, the world needs more gentle spirits like Milly. She will be missed! Prayers to you all!

  7. So sorry to hear of your loss, I had the joy of meeting and caring for Milly while she was at Kindred. She will be missed.

  8. Harden family we are so sorry for your loss. We had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Harden through two of our children (Brayton and Keeleigh). Our children adored her because she was such a loving teacher. They both knew how much she truly cared for them. We pray for peace and comfort for you all during this time. Ryan and Trista Kikendall and family

  9. Tony, so sorry for the loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Milly was such a sweet lady. I had already moved out of state when the two of you married, but I always subscribed to The Republic and read where the two of you married. I can honestly say, you two made the perfect couple for both of you were so nice and kind to people. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time.

  10. Sorry for your loss.. Milly was my 4th grade teacher and I’ll never forget the times she shared her gummy coke candy with me. She will be missed.

  11. Mr. Harden, my deepest of sorrows are with you right now. Mrs. Harden always had such a lovely smile and contagious laugh. She made such a huge impact on each students lives she was able to touch!! I know now that she has the best privilege to watch down on each and every one of us; shinning her bright light for us!! I am blessed to have been able to have her a teacher and learned so much from her!! My prayers and love to you and your family for healing and knowledge that she is in a better place!! -April King (Ritchey)

  12. Tony & family… Was my privilege to come to know Milly (and, Tony) when she was a patient at St. Francis. I always enjoyed our conversations and prayer together. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to all is saying farewell to such a precious soul… Love and peace to all… Chaplain Lisa Deckert, Franciscan St. Francis Health, Indianapolis

  13. It was always such a pleasure to be around Milly. She was such a positive, friendly, happy person. I’m very grateful that I was able to know her and see how important she was to Paige and everyone around her.

  14. I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Harden’s passing. I was blessed to have her as a teacher twice while I was at Richards. I remember telling her I was going to be a teacher and come back and take her job when she left. I went a different direction with my career, but I will always remember her as the kindest teacher I had. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She was a true blessing.

  15. Milly was a very special person. She was a very good teacher to my son Brandon while he was at Richards Elementary. She was always very sweet and kind to both of us. Heaven has truly gained an angel. RIP Milly

  16. Mrs. Harden was one of my 4th grade teachers back in 2000-2001. She was a great teacher! She will be greatly missed!

  17. Our hearts are with the family. What a special lady! She was an amazing teacher to both my children Tanner & Kelsey Smith. To this day, she’s still their Favorite. She will be missed, but will live on in our Hearts Forever.

  18. Milly was a wonderful lady and friend. She was an incredible teacher! She taught my three children at Richards. I appreciate all she did for my children. She taught from her heart. She loved every child she taught. She was always happy. She will be greatly missed. Praying for your family.

  19. I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is a difficult thing to bear. I have found comfort in the promises found in the scriptures that someday soon we would see our loved ones again. John 11:25. Not only can we look forward to seeing them again, but soon there will be no more pain, suffering and even death itself will be done away with. Rev 21:4. Until then, may the peace of God be with you and give you comfort and hope. Philippians 4:7 Warm Regards, Melissa JW.org https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/bible-teach/hope-resurrection-of-dead-loved-ones/?insight
