Rocky Ross

Roscoe A. “Rocky” Ross, 59, of Columbus, formerly of North Vernon, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Kindred Hospital South. Rocky was born Feb. 9, 1957, in Columbus, the son of Everette E. Ross and Blanche Walker Ross Capps. He was a member of ABATE motorcycle club and loved riding his motorcycle. Rocky also enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing with his three German shepherds and being outdoors. Survivors include his daughter, Sarah K. Ross of Whiteland; sisters, Linda J. Davis of Columbus and Barbara (Treg) Hawksworth of Springfield, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Adelynn, Liam and Myla. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and ABATE brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
