Dillon Leon Crawford

Dillon L. Crawford, 78, of Olmstead Drive, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Dillon was born Nov. 12, 1937, in Clay County, Tennessee, the son of William Taft and LouAnn Cherry Crawford. He married Janetta Rich May 24, 1957, in Indianapolis. Dillon retired from Dorel Juvenile Group in 2000 after 15 years of service. Prior to that, he was employed at the Golden Foundry. Survivors include his wife, Janetta; sons, Mark Crawford and Matthew Crawford both of Columbus; one grandson, Collin Matthew Crawford; brothers, David Crawford and Donnie (Kathy) Crawford, both of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee; and sisters, Jewell Byrley of Martinsville, Indiana, and JoAnn Clemons of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Scott Allen Crawford on Nov. 22, 1966; brothers, James, Dan and Larry Crawford, along with an infant brother; and a sister, Opal Coons; and infant sister.

So sorry to hear of Dillon’s passing. It was a blessing having such great neighbors and he will be missed by our family.
