Danny was born July 16, 1938, in Walnut Grove, Illinois, the son of Harold Raymond and Leila Thurman Brown. He married the love of his life, Evelyn Ann Johnson Dec. 20, 1980. Danny was previously employed by Champion International in Columbus as plant manager for 20 years before retiring from Elgin Corrugated Box Company in Elgin, Illinois. He was a member of Westport Masonic Lodge #52 and enjoyed attending services at Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church. Danny was an avid fisherman, golfer, camper and hunter, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Ann; sons, Wayne (Tracy) Conrad of Wisconsin; Keith (Sandy) Conrad of Elizabethtown and Devin Brown of California; daughters, Dannella (Jim) McNulty of California, Devona (Mike) Reese of California and Amber Conrad-Koch of North Vernon; brother, Roger Brown of Illinois; sisters, Roberts (Howard) Baumgardner of Missouri, Eileen (Amil) Gray of California, Marcia Henry of Illinois and Janet Yoder of Georgia; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his best friend, Johnny Collins of Madison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
