Marjorie P. Messina

Marjorie was born February 19, 1930, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of James Leslie and Mattie Pauline Woodward Guthrie. She married Carl A. Messina December 20, 1947. Marjorie retired from Reliance Electric. She enjoyed working on puzzles, coloring, gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting, picking asparagus and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Tom (Barbara) Messina of Hope, Tony (Donna) Messina of Venice, Florida, Dale (Mandy) Messina of Flat Rock and Randy (Julie) Messina of Hartsville; grandchildren, Bryan Messina, Todd Messina, Dawn Day, Allene Day, Jamie Day, Amber Robertson, Aubrie Gill, Kassie Utley, NaCyia (Chris) Loesch, Bearette Messina, Coleten Messina and Brexten Messina; great-grandchildren, James Messina, Kayeden Messina, Korebyn Loesch, Kolesyn Loesch, Klaetyn Loesch, Byeren Messina, Baereyn Mills, Mattie Schornick, Reese Robertson, Kyla Robertson, Maycie Asher, Jada Asher, Landon Asher, Stryker Gill, Claire Utley and Jay Utley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; a daughter, Cheryl Messina Day; and grandchildren, Calyse Messina and Caylynn Messina.
