Thomas W. Young Jr., 45, of West County Road 250 S, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, in Bartholomew County. Survivors include his father, Thomas W. Young Sr. of Columbus; mother, Linda S. Garrity Young of Columbus; son, Thomas Young of Columbus; daughters, Summer Young of Columbus, Samantha Palmer of Columbus and Sophia Young of Nashville; sisters, Ellen (Tonya) Young and Jamie (Shawn Riley) Young, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Aiden Palmer, Payton Skaggs, Bentley Palmer and Brantley Young; several nieces, nephew, aunts and uncles also survive. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Keshia Hays.

thomas was my dad and he died when i was 3 so i don’t remember much but he was the best father i could ever ask for even though i didn’t get much time with him i know that he wishes he was still here to watch me grow up i love you so much daddy i wish you were still her so i could have one more hug and say i love you
