Linda Lou Leonard, 70, of 14th Street, died at noon Friday, January 29, 2016, at her home. Linda was born May 16, 1945, in Columbus, the daughter of Robert W. and Marjorie L. Robertson Donhost. A 1963 graduate of Columbus High School, she had been employed as a secretary at StadlerPacking Co., Ventra Corporation, formerly known as Vernco, and retired from Wal-Mart after 20 years of service. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her faithful dachshund Zoey. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR and evenings at Derby Dinner Playhouse with her sister. Survivors include her daughter, Amy (Brent) Banister of Columbus; a son, Joseph (Kristie) Leonard of Columbus; sister, Marilyn "Susie" (Barry) Reuteman of Columbus; grandchildren, Morgan Banister, Tyler Banister, Tyler Thompson and Isabella Leonard; nephews, Gary Donhost and Michael Donhost; nieces, Kelly (Billy Watkins) Setser and Brooke (Dave) Back; great-nephews, Eli Back and Logan Back; and her faithful companion, Zoey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Donhost.
