Lambert, 90, of Columbus, died at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation.Ella was born March 15, 1925 in Bartholomew County, the daughter of John R. and Mary E. Nichols Tungett. She married Roy C. Lambert November 21, 1942. Ella was previously employed at C.P. Electronics and Roviar Sportswear, and was co-owner of B.&L. Health and Beauty.She was a life-long member of Shiloh Separate Baptist Church and loved cooking, canning, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Roy; children, Beverly (Luke) Lucas of Edmonton, Kentucky, Sharon Tennell of Shelbyville, Jerry (Carla) Lambert of Columbus, Steven Lambert of Columbus and Chuck (Debby) Lambert of Columbus; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Douglas Lambert; and a sister, Bertha Kralik.
