He married Verna Mason, December 26, 1953. Tommy was a farmer most of his life in Shelby County. He was a member of the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle for many years. Tommy will be remembered as a humorous story teller by those he entertained. He never met a stranger and was kind to all he met. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.Survivors include his wife; sons, Greg (Amanda) Roberts, Jeff Roberts, Jimmy (Hayley) Roberts all of Edinburgh and Steve Roberts of Flat Rock; brother, Charlie Meeks of Liberty, Kentucky; sisters, Nina Calhoun of Dunville, Kentucky, Betty Braden of New Albany and Laura Garmon of Geneseo, Illinois; grandchildren, Christopher (Symphanee) Roberts of Moreno Valley, California, Ryan VanBuskirk of Indianapolis, Hillary Roberts of Hawaii, Kylee (Austin) Bailey of Edinburgh, Mataeya (Devin) Deeds of Buchanan, Michigan, Steven, Joshua, Katie, Isaac, Faith, Charlie and Elijah Roberts all of Edinburgh; and one great granddaughter, Brooklynn Bailey of Edinburgh.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Eileen Roberts; his brothers, Stanley, John, Cash, Raymond, Jimmy and Paul Roberts; and sisters, Virgie Roberts, Gay Roberts, Mary Sanders and Marcella Jones.
