Richard A. Weddle
April 7, 1942 ~ December 6, 2015
Richard retired from Rockwell Automation after 36 years as a motor drive assembler. He enjoyed motorcycling and gardening. He was a great auto mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and he enjoyed every minute. Survivors include his wife, Henrietta; a son, David E. Weddle of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Brenda (Matthew S. Linn) Weddle of Columbus; a brother, Roy Michael Weddle of Greenwood; sister, Barbara D. Shepard of Cape Coral, Florida; grandchildren, David Andrew (Heather R. Kinsey) Weddle and Ashley Diane (Levi Allen Curry) Weddle; and great-grandchildren, Renezmae Curry, David Zander Weddle and Zoey Reńe Weddle. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Merrill Weddle Jr. and Larry E. Weddle.

I am so sorry I cannot attend the funeral but I really loved Richard. It was so great to work beside him in assembly. He taught me how to build motordrives. We used to pull a lot of tricks on each other to keep our sanity as we worked.
