Jerry Day, Sr. FINAL RESTING PLACE: Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery with military honors provided by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard VISITATION: 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the funeral home Daryl Glenn Walker, 68, of N 400 W, died at 5:25 a.m.Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Daryl was born September 8, 1947 in Albion, Michigan, the son of Glenn and Sylvia Hackworth Walker. He married Teresa Shadle Walker March 7, 1986. Daryl served as a sergeant in the air force from 1966 - 1970 and was currently employed at Cummins Engine Company as a mechanical journeyman. Daryl was a member of The Ridge. He loved tinkering around in the barn, especially while working on old Chevy's, and playing with his grandchildren. Survivors include his father, Glenn Walker of Mountain Grove, Missouri; wife, Teresa; sons, Daniel (Kelly) Walker of Ft. Wayne and David Walker of Columbus; daughters, Tracey (Chad) Frederickson of Ft. Wayne and Sarah Walker of Columbus; sister, Carol (Dennis) Dohm of Montepelier, Ohio; and grandchildren, Aurora and Mikenna Frederickson, Lillian and Charlotte Walker, and Aubree Walker. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Hackworth Tompkins; and a sister, Glenda Gay Walker.
