John Brooks

John M. Brooks, 58, of Springbrook Drive, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Survivors include his father, Merle Brooks of Mississippi; companion, Debbie Colvin of Columbus; nieces, Kimberly and Melissa Smith, both of North Vernon; and half brothers, Malcom and John Brooks, both of Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Stagman Brooks. No service is planned. Inurnment will be at a later date.
