SERVICES: In keeping with Hal's wishes, no services shall be held. In lieu of a memorial service, you can make memorial contributions in his name to the Anatomical Education Program at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, Medical Science Bldg., Room 5035, 635 Barnhill drive, Indianapolis, IN 46202-5120 Hal G. Baker, formally of Columbus, died October 1, 2015 at his home. Born in Columbus, Indiana, he was a graduate of Columbus High School, and Milligan College Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management, where he received two graduate degrees. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. and Doloros E. (Griffin) Baker; and his son, LCDR John M. Baker. His daughter, Joan E. Baker of Brooklyn, New York; his brothers; Mark Baker of Columbus, Greg Baker of Naperville, Illinois; and a sister, Jill E. DeAquair of Vero Beach, Florida survive him.






Hal was a beloved cousin to many, and we will all miss him. He loved life and experienced a lot in his time on earth. He will be remembered with a smile and many fond memories.
I worked with Hal several years ago. Hal was a true gentleman. The world would be a much better place if there were more like him. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
