Barbara was born March 10, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of James D. and Ruth Mai Callis Crunk. She married Luther Bedel on March 14, 1979. Barbara retired from Jay C grocery store in 1993. She was a 1956 graduate from Franklin Township High School. Barbara was a member of Mill Race Senior Center and attended First Christian Church Survivors include her sons Anthony (Rhonda) Hamilton of North Vernon, Mark (Connie) Hamilton of Columbus; daughter Nancy (Gregg) Daugherty of Columbus; step-children Greg (Rose) Bedel of Seymour, Kevin (Nancy) Bedel of Crothersville, Carol (Conny) Berger of Crothersville, and Lucinda (Alvin) Killey of Brownstown; grandchildren Basile and Patrick Hamilton, Gage, Brennen, and Gus Daugherty; 4 step-grandchildren; brothers James D. (Anola) Crunk of Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Stan (Carol) Crunk of Memphis, Tennessee, Ron (Tempe) Crunk of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters Kay Dye of Greenville, Indiana, Patricia (Ben) Allen of St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Bedel on September 18, 1993; parents James D. and Ruth Mai Callis Crunk; grandson Jacob Ray Daugherty; brothers Paul Douglas Crunk and Jerry Crunk; sisters Mary Lynn Crunk and Diane Boland.
