FINAL RESTING PLACE: Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Matthew J. Garner, 33, of Franklin, passed away at 4:53 a.m. August 20, 2015 at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis. Matthew attended Tabernacle Christian School in Edinburgh. He was employed at Davidson's Lumber and Di Tech. Matt enjoyed Colts football and was an avid video gamer. He was a very friendly man that had no enemies. Matt will be remembered for being a very hard worker and an awesome brother to his siblings. He was a very loving husband and wonderful father and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Survivors include his wife Nikki J. Petro Garner of Franklin, Indiana; a daughter Kenzie Garner; his father Larry J. Garner of Edinburgh; his mother Patricia A. Blake of St. Paul, Indiana; brothers Benjamin (Emily) Garner of New Orleans, Louisiana & Christopher (April) Garner of Buckeye Lake, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother Jason N. Garner.
