Wright, 90, of Hope, died at 5:01 a.m. Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor. Barbara was born January 16, 1925 the daughter of Dubois and Adah Hatfield Giles. Barbara enjoyed sewing and was a wonderful seamstress. She also enjoyed wood carving and cross-stitch. Survivors include her son, David E. (Kathleen) Wright of Columbus; a sister, Kitty Smith of Franklin; nieces and nephews, Chris (Margie) Giles, John (Rose) Dunlap, Bob (Laura) Dunlap, Karen Berman, Maureen Dunlap, Phil Smith and Allen Smith; and her best friend, Christy (Mario) Casas. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and Richard Giles and an infant brother, Mark Giles; and a sister, Isabel Dunlap.
