Tim Brown VISITATION: Noon until 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Alzheimer's Association Joan Ogilvie, 90, of West Ridge Dr., passed away at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. Joan was born November 21, 1924 in Crothersville, the daughter of John and Noami Hoard Stewart. She married Robert E. Ogilvie on October 29, 1946. Joan graduated from Seymour High School, and was employed with Gordon - Miller Insurance for over 40 years. She enjoyed baking, boating, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, James F. Ogilvie of Columbus; daughter, Roberta Jean Ogilvie Fye of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren Marie Ogilvie Hecht, Elaine Ogilvie Singh, Jody Johnson, Kristen Johnson Case; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Noami Hoard Stewart; her husband, Robert E. Ogilvie, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2009; and brothers, Reese and Royce Stewart.
