To the Dillman family: For more than half a century, the Dillman family have been considered among the closest friends with the Davis family. While the “seniors” of that loving friendship are quickly passing from our midst, the family each has raised continue to further that love, generated by the blood of Christ which unites in His eternal family! May God’s richest comforts be yours as you accept the passing of Donald!
David and I are deeply saddened by the loss of this father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather to the Dillman and Ragsdale families.
I have lost the best Father-in-law I could’ve asked for. Gonna be difficult traveling to Columbus and not seeing him cutting the grass, tinkering in his garage or sitting in his chair.
Pat, Diane and Dan and your extended families are in our thoughts and prayers. Even though our time here on earth is limited, we’re never ready to let our loved ones go. For that reason, God is left in charge and does His will. We’re so glad that we spent some of Donald’s time here on earth with him and all of you, his family. Donald and Dan (and Patti) spent many hours after our fire helping us put our home and lives back together and for that we can never find words to thank you all. The years spent here in White county were enjoyable for everyone and memorable for us all. We love you all so much and hold you up in prayer to our Lord. Amen and God rest Donald.
I remember the numerous trips, made as a youngster, on that winding road between Bloomington and Columbus to visit with the Dillman family. Don has finished his journey on this terrestrial globe and transitioned to the spiritual realm. May his remaining family be blessed and know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers go up to Jesus in petition that God will comfort you as only He can.
I only met Don once at my uncle Luther Mcgee’s funeral in Columbus. He was a very gracious man. Dan, Jennifer, Tate, and Blake, you are all in our prayers. Luther McGee’s family from North Carolina
Diane, Jim & family, My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. Remembering good times spent at the Dillman house growing up. May God’s peace be with all of you.
