SERVICES: 4:00 p.m. Tuesday February 17, 2015 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home OFFICIATING CLERGY: Virgil Clotfelter VISITATION: 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Riley Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Hospital Bobbie Jean Noe, 81, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born December 27, 1933, in Danville, KY, to the late James Brown Noe and Jessie V. Lane Noe. Like her mother, Bobbie was a happy soul who never met at stranger. She was a caregiver for her dear sister, Genetta Foster, with whom she made her lifelong home. Bobbie had been employed at National Linen and then Sap's Bakery. Bobbie is survived by her sisters, Elsie (Randy) Rogers of Columbus and Mary Belle Carrico of Lebanon, KY, and a brother, Bill (Betty) Noe of Lancaster, KY. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including Rhonda Sue Foster of Louisville, KY, Ron Foster of Brownsburg and Randy Foster of Columbus, whom she cherished as her own. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Rebecca Nelson, Genetta Foster, Loraine Goldy and Ann Blair; and six brothers, Clarence, Issac, Milton, Robert, Thomas and Larue Noe.

  1. Hearing my mama, Sylvia A. Noe Blair, talk about her siblings was always a highlight and continues to be a very fond memory of mine. Her siblings were always so important to her even when she could not be there with them. RIP Aunt Bobby!

  2. I was a public health nurse and made visits to Bobbie several times when she lived at Booth Manor. I enjoyed visiting with her. Very sweet lady.
