SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. VISITATION: 4-8 Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Funeral Home with one hour prior to service time Tuesday. OFFICIATING: Rev. David Bragg FINAL RESTING PLACE: Greenlawn Cemetery, Nashville, IN. Danny Bragg, 72, of Lee St, died at 5:20 p.m., February 13, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Danny was born September 16, 1942 in Barren County Kentucky, the son of John G. and Mary F. Harper Bragg. He married Lillian Merrick Bragg on October 20, 1962. Danny was raised in Metcalf County Kentucky. He later moved to Indiana in the early 60's and was employed by Golden Foundry for 40 years. After retiring Danny was employed by Bartholomew County School Corporation at Southside Elementary School. His passion was his family and preaching. Survivors include a daughter, Connie (Harrell) Wesley of Nashville; a brother, Rev. Samuel David (Dorotha) Bragg of Hope; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelly) Wesley of Nashville, Holly (Tim) Allen of Morgantown and April (Nick) Coleman of Nashville; and great-grandchildren, Cali and Caleb Wesley, Marcella and Michelle Allen and Scott and Loralai Coleman. He was preceded in death by his wife, brothers, Garlen Jasper Bragg, Eulis Heron Bragg, Jonnie Lee Earl Bragg, Henery Marion Bragg, Clearance Ruesell Bragg, Cecil Ray Bragg; sisters, Mavis Nadin Caffee, Nancy Lucele Bragg and one great grandchild.

  1. sorry of your loss i remember him when he live in Edmonton ,Ky ; I grew up with him and David hadn’t saw him in a while ; my prayers for the family

  2. Our hearts are broken at the loss of Danny, but I know He is rejoicing. He has lived his life for this time… No doubt about it. always would hug me each time i saw him, even in walmart a couple weeks ago. RIP our dear friend, its not good bye only so long for a while, will see you again up there never to depart….

  3. Bro Dave and family.. I am so sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. Sorry that I couldn’t be there for you as you were there for us when mom passed away and for dad through so many times. Your in our prayers and we send love your way. I have never seen Danny but you sure can tell you are siblings. I pray that the Holy Spirit sends comfort to you and the others during this time of sorrow. G

  4. So sorry for your lose. Danny worked with my mom Jacki at Southside. I just seen him the other day at Sadies too. So sorry for your lose. Thoughts and prayers with all.
