Juan Garcia, 61, of Edinburgh, died at 5:40 a.m. February 8, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital. The funeral was held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Purvis Garcia of Edinburgh; sons, Juan A. Garcia of Edinburgh and Jose Garcia of McAllen, TX; daughter, Brenda Garcia of McAllen, TX; step-sons, Brian Purvis of Columbus and Dale Purvis of Indiana; brothers, Enrique Garcia and Albert Garcia, both of Indiana, and Hime Garcia of Texas; sisters, Carmen Gonzales of McAllen, TX and Anita Lara of Palmview, TX; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerargo and Isabel Navarro Garcia.

I was so sorry to hear about Juan passing. We worked at Dolly Madison together. He was a very nice man and wish I had know and paid my respects to the family at the viewing. My condolences to juan’s family.
