Egan Medical Fund through the funeral home. Autumn Michelle Egan, 44, of Columbus, died at 2:28 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Autumn was born August 10, 1970 in Bloomington the daughter of Mary Lou Egan . Autumn was a CNA for 20 years. She loved working at the hospital, helping with cancer support groups and fundraising for groups such as Relay for Life. Autumn loved crafting, fishing with her brother Adam and her sister Kim, visiting the Tri-State Artisians and had an appreciation for good wines. She loved her family, especially her "grandbabies" and her dog Maizie. Survivors include her mother, Mary Lou Egan of Bloomington; son, Shane Meek of Columbus; daughter, Christie (Troy) Smith of Bloomington; brother, Adam (Krislyn) Wilson of Mitchell; sister, Kim Egan of Bloomington; grandmother, Mary Ruth Egan of Bloomington; grandchildren, Madisyn, Aydon and Coltyn Smith; and her companion, Daryl Crim of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Egan; and her previous companion, Val Meek.

  5. I will miss you and your posts. I appreciate everything you have done for my family and I in helping us deal with my mom. No matter what was going on you never let it show. I will remember us fb each other in class about the girl eating the chips very loud. Memories of you at the welcome home get together for my mom. She appreciated it so much. Remember the walk we all took and my mom getting stuck in the sand in her wheelchair? It took all of us to pull her out. Ha. Madison made a new best friend that day, you! Rest in peace and I will see you again soon! Maybe we can prank call the hot firefighters in heaven!

  6. I’m still having a hard time excepting your not here, I think most of everyone is. I find my self checking your Facebook and rereading all our messages that we have had. I miss you so much! My heart breaks for Daryl,Christie,Shane,Adam,Kim and those babies so much but I know your looking down on all them. I am so blessed for knowing you and having all the time we have had together, I Love you Autumn Egan Fly High! Never say bye just see you later
