Healthy Cemetery VISITATION: Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the church MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: American Cancer Society James Allen Lowe, 72, of 50 S, died at 6:37 p.m., September 28, 2014 at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Survivors include his son, Michael A. (Judy) Lowe of Columbus; brothers, Hobert (Sally) Lowe, Willard (Barbara) Lowe and Don (Brenda) Lowe, all of Columbus and Harley (Janice) Lowe of Alcoa, TN; sisters, Gladys (Bill) Lovins of Waymansville, Ann (Rick) Jackson of Columbus and Perna (Ronald) Reed of Clarksville; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Webb Lowe; parents, Hubert and Elsie Rains Lowe; and a daughter, Daniella Lowe.

It’s with a sad heart that we say goodbye to Jim. Both Chris and I knew him for many years, Chris more than I. Still he made a lasting impression on us both. We will remember him always. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and his family.

Jim was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A soft spoken man who put God and family first. He held fast to his faith during his wife Yvonne’s illness that finally claimed her life. It is only now that he is back with her,and in heaven there is no pain and suffering and they are whole again. Fly high my friend. I will miss you till we meet again in God’s kingdom.
