Petro, 73, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, September 20, 2014, at The Waters of Scottsburg in Scottsburg, Indiana. Floyd was born September 19, 1941 in Columbus, the son of Raymond and Betty Hull Petro. He married Carol Bense Petro . Floyd was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church & retired in 1997 from Cummins Engine Company, where he was a machinist. Survivors include his spouse Carol Bense Petro of Columbus, Indiana; daughter Lori Ann (Kenneth) Pardue of Hope, Indiana; two grandchildren Kendra Jean Pardue & Tommy Ray Pardue; brothers-in-law James W. (Patricia) Bense of Columbus & David T. Bense of Hope, Indiana. . He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond & Betty Hull Petro, aunt Mary Evelyn Perkins; grandmother Mary Hall; great-aunt Emma Stuckey; and a sister-in-law Kathleen Ann Bense.
