Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am sad to hear of your passing. You always were so kind to me and my family and I will always remember you for this. R*I*P* Sister and rejoice in being with our Lord and Savior ^j^

  2. I still can’t believe you are gone. I will always be grateful for the advice and blessings you gave me. Thank you for being a kindred spirit in so many ways. Rest now and I’ll see you on the other side.

  3. It is with sad heart that I leave this message, Janet was a wonderful lady. I remember the fun times we had when we worked together at the car dealership. Janet got me hooked on reading and I haven’t stopped. Even though I have been out of the area for almost 30 years I have enjoyed connecting with her via FB, and the words of encouragement she gave me when I was going though some difficult times. She will be greatly missed.

  4. Janet was a part of our Guam Navy Moms and Family group when her son Michael was sent to Guam last year. She loved Michael very much and was very proud of him. We will miss her support and wisdom that she gave to the group. Blessings to the family during this time. Praying that God will fill the emptiness in your hearts with His love and great memories of her.

  5. What a beautiful video tribute to a wonderful woman whom I had the pleasure of knowing via Homeroad online support group for many years. Janet was a beautiful person inside and out will be missed by family and many friends across the U.S.A. Rest in peace my friend! Thoughts and prayers with the family during this time of sorrow.

  6. My most heartfelt condolences to Floyd, Misty, Jarvis, Ashton, Tyler, Justin, Patrick and Michael. Janet was a jewel among us. I knew her through the trucking group we belonged to, and had the honor of meeting her in St. Louis. Our Creator must have something very special indeed in mind for such a beautiful soul. I will miss her. My prayers now are for peace, comfort and understanding for all of you, and for all those she left behind. Until we meet again, safe journey sister, and rejoice in being with your Lord! Shirley Strieter

  7. I virtually met janet through an online group, Homeroad, sponsored by Layover.com in 2000 when my husband became a truck driver. Janet and I actually met at a Homeroad “meet-up” in St. Louis, MO. Janet had the most loving and sweet spirit. I enjoyed our talks and our adventures. She asked me to accompany her to the Temple in St. Louis. It was a memorable event and I will cherish that memory and our friendship for the rest of my life. To Janet’s family.. Your wife, mother, and grandmother was a phenomenal woman who loved all of you so much. Yes, you will miss her. When the sad times come, and they will, just pluck one of those happy memories and focus on that for a time. Janet would not want you to be sad. She was all about being content with where you are and excited about where you are going. Cherish her memory and imitate her “style” and love for her Lord, her family, and her friends. She will live in your hearts always, and in mine, too.

  8. I knew Janet thru the Homeroad truckers group a few years ago. She was always uplifting and supportative to us newbies in the trucking world. She left this earth way too soon. But I know with her spiritual beliefs, she will see her family again.

  9. Janet and her husband were two of my regular customers at Joe Willy’s& had been since I started there 2 years ago. I absolutely loved waiting on them& was shocked to hear of her passing. I am 8 months pregnant and even when I was not their server, Janet would stop me and ask how I was doing. She was amazingly sweet & had such a kind energy about her. My prayers are with her husband and the rest of her family.
