Shane Rocker FINAL RESTING PLACE: Ohio Chapel Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Riley Hospital For Children Donald Lee Gearhart, 82, of Jones Street, died at 2:50 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014, at his home. Donald was born July 8, 1932 in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Charles and Ethel Dill Gearhart. He was raised in the Garden City and Walesboro area and later married Norma Jean Ward January 13, 1951. Donald was previously employed at Moony's Tannery, the Golden Foundry and farming. He retired from Cosco after 45 years of employment. Donald enjoyed NASCAR, Indy racing and hunting. Survivors include his daughter, Connie Frazee of Columbus; brother, Charles (Louise) Gearhart of Greenwood; brother-in-law, Harold (Joyce) Ward of Columbus; and a sister, Margaret Lane of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma; and a grandchild, Tracee Lynn Moore.
