SERVICES: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday June 25, 2014 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home VISITATION: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Albert Sisson Memorial Fund through the funeral home Albert Leon Sisson, 64, of 14th Street, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Albert was born October 28, 1949, in Martinsville, Indiana, the son of Alvin Leon and Mabel L. Voland Sisson. He married Barbara Ann Rutter January 19, 1969. A loving husband, father and grandfather who truly loved his family, Albert loved to fish and enjoyed hunting. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeff L. (Kimberly) Sisson of Cantonment, Florida; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Nelson of Pensacola, Florida, and Joyanna Ruth (Dan) Headrick of Molino, Florida; a brother, Harold (Cathy) Sisson of Greenwood; sisters, Debbie Sisson of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Beverly Harvey of Columbus; and grandchildren, Breanna E. Headrick, Marie Nicole Nelson, Jessica C. Sisson, Tyler Nelson and Wyatt Sisson. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Sisson; his mother, Mabel Frye; a son, Patrick Thomas Sisson; and a brother, Bruce Allen Sisson.

Barb,, Albert Loved you and his kids. He gave it his best and will be well missed. He always made me feel like family even on Chauncey st.
Barb & Family. There are no adequate words to express our sorrow and disbelief that Albert (aka Bub to us ) has joined our Heavenly Father. He was such a Kind Soul, and was a Child of God. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him, and to know him was to love him, Just know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love you all.
