Glenn Poynter VISITATION: 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home FINAL RESTING PLACE: Daugherty Cemetery MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Paula Kirvan Memorial Fund for her grandchildren's college fund through Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral home Heaven gained a new angel on June 12, 2014, as Paula Sue (Hiten) Kirvan went to be with the Lord. Paula was born on December 13, 1966 in Columbus, Indiana. She lived in Ogilville, Indiana her entire life and graduated from Columbus North High School in 1985. After graduation Paula was married and had three children, Melinda, Jeramy and Joshua. Paula cherished her kids more than life itself. Paula and her children lived mostly in Indiana, but spent time in Virginia also. Paula was divorced in 2004 and shortly after met the man of her dreams, Michael T. Kirvan. After an eight year courtship, Paula and Mike married on March 13, 2013 in Hawaii. They lived in Clio, Michigan. Paula loved to swim, lie on the beach and dance. She also loved her cats (especially Rescue). Most of all, she loved being with her family especially her three grandkids, Vincent, age 3, Jude, age 3 and Lennoxx , 4 months. She loved her grandbabies! Paula is survived by her husband Mike; her three kids, Melinda Case (Durham) her husband Bradley Case and their kids, Vincent and Lennoxx, all of Franklin, Jeremy Durham, wife Erin and their son, Jude all of Indianapolis, and Joshua Durham and fiancée Kristina, of Franklin; her dad, Daniel Hiten of Columbus; brother, Kevin Hiten of Jonesville; sisters, Kimberly Staley, Angela Shepherd and Cheryl Baldwin all of Columbus; step-son, Anthony Kirvan, Ft. Hood, TX and a step-daughter, Nikki Kirvan of Clio, MI. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Savonna Hiten and a very special niece, Denniel "Delby" Hiten. Paula will be sadly missed by everyone. She was such a kind and beautiful lady who loved life. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 18 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Daugherty Cemetery will be her final resting place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to the Paula Kirvan Memorial Fund for her grandchildren's college fund through the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
