Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was in the youth group at Parkside Baptist Church with Alan. I easily remember his handsome smile and accomplishments in sports. He was full of life and energy. Praying God’s sustaining comfort and peace for his family at this difficult time.

  2. Imogene – I have so many good memories of time spent with you guys growing up in Columbus. Alan was like a second brother to me. He and Ron together treated me just like the pesky little sister I was! I remember going to visit Alan at Culver, fishing and camping at Rough River, and many summer days spent at the farm. One thing I remember emjoying was helping Alan pack for Culver. I was so envious of all his Levi’s and took special care to make sure they were folded just right! Although time and distance separates me from my Parkside family and the place I really consider home, I have my wonderful memories that can’t be taken away. My heart breaks for you at this time. I hope Alan is at peace and you have peace knowing Dr. James welcomed him with open arms. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  3. Imogene, Keith, and Carol, We are weeping with you and praying with you. We care for Alan and for you. God cares even more. Yes, Lee, Columbus is like home!

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Alan at Columbus Convalescent Center 24-25 years ago. He was a great guy. Loved his quick wit and sense uf humor.
