Dear Family and Friends, We shall miss a hero like Gene. It is sad to see our WWII soldiers pass on, but it is God’s will. May he rest in Peace.
Gene, or Bunk as I knew him, was my favorite Uncle on the Poland side of my family. I will always remember his smile and the funny stories he used to tell whenever my family went to visit him, which was often. He was always joking with me and was always such a warm and giving man to me. Bunk was a wonderful man and I know he will be in heaven enjoying a reunion with his brothers and sisters and his parents. I will definitely miss him and I am so glad I got to visit with him a few weeks before he went to be with Our Lord.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. So sorry for your loss. Gene was a fine man and you were all such wonderful neighbors to us.
