We loved you so much Ron! You are truly missed!
Times with Ron were always an adventure! Can’t put the date on it, but it happened in Lexington, MA sometime in the 90’s. We became best friends early on as we worshiped in the same church. Ron and I loved nature and I think the love of flowers always brought conversations around the newest varieties of lilies and what we were planning to plant in our garden that year. Not exciting to most people, yet it bright a lot of joy to us. One beautiful summer day Ron planned a surprise picnic at an especially lovely wooded, riverside area in Concord. He planned the whole thing–beautiful tablecloth and napkins, a basket of delectable food items–special cheese and crackers, marinated chicken, variety of salads and my favorite dessert–cookies! This day exhibited his caring and generous heart. We prayed, laughed, and had a wonderful bonding time. Ron had an incredible heart. Always ready to bring a spot of happiness not only in my life but anyone who needed comfort, support and a listening ear. What a gentle spirit! He was always ready to go that extra mile to serve and loved God with all his heart. We wrote and telephoned one another year after year and never lost the joy of hearing each other’s voice. We shared scripture together during good and troubled times. He was my best devoted friend. Carolyn
My sympathy and condolences during this time of loss…may God bless and comfort as only He can. Ron’s mother and my mother were sisters. He use to take care of me many years ago. Then my Aunt Esther and His mother. My Husband and I were in contact with Ron for many years and then we lost contact with Ron. I lost my Husband a year ago. I have lost many cousins and so sadden to hear of the lost of Ron.
Ron was loved by so many and will forever remain in our hearts. I have so many fond memories growing up and into adulthood. Ron was so blessed to have the whole Knox family who dearly loved him and took great care of him and became part of his family. Thank you to everyone for their kindness and generosity.
