Charles Kelley FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Mausoleum VISITATION: 11:00 a.m. Friday until the service time at the funeral home MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Raymond D. "Bud" Smith, 86, of Mill Run, died at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Bud was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Cosco in 1984, then worked for WalMart, and finally retired in 2012 from Big Lots. He also was an ordained minister. He enjoyed making Indian dream catchers and jewelry, reading, playing video games and playing golf. Born in Bartholomew County Nov. 13, 1927, Bud was the son of Paul Smith and Marie Smith. He married June Jones Oct. 16, 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Pam Jones, Columbus, IN; half brothers, David Goodwin, Greenwood, IN, and Gary Goodwin, Greenfield, IN; seven stepchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three wives, Goldie Smith, Hazel Kelley-Smith and June Jones Smith.
