FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Allman officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery. MEMORIALS: Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Pauline Gibson, 78, of Hege Avenue, died at 3:26 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her home. She was born in Bell County, Ky., June 4, 1935, the daughter of the late Paris and Annie Fuson Miracle. She married Kenneth Reeves, who passed away in 1987. She then married Lloyd Daniel Gibson on Feb. 14, 2001, and he survives. Pauline was a member of Mt. Olive General Baptist Church, where she was secretary for many years. She was an avid Christian woman all her life, setting an example for others to follow, and was also a member of Freedom Refuge Ministries. Pauline enjoyed sewing, gardening, and bird watching. She loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to her husband, Pauline is also survived by sons, Joey D. Reeves of Louisville, Ky., Lloyd Daniel (Orpha) Gibson Jr., of London, Ky., Ernie Lee (Sharon) Gibson of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Jackie Dean (Kay) Gibson of Columbus; daughters, Sharon A. (Jerry) Reeves Barger of Columbus and Chris Tina (Randy) Reeves of Austin; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brothers, James Miracle of North Vernon and Roy (Margaret) Miracle of Columbus; sisters, Alberta Sue James of Columbus, Wanda (Ron) Jaggers of Columbus and Christine Griese of Columbus. Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents; sons, Randell G. Reeves and Timmy R. Reeves; a daughter, Amy Sue Reeves Brutsch; brothers, Troy Miracle, Alvie Miracle and Sherman North; and a sister, Mildred Miracle.
