Louis W. Jackson Louis W. Jackson, 85, passed away at 9:02 am Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Community South Hospice Care in Indianapolis, IN. Louis retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1991 after 35 years of service. He also served in the Corp of Engineers in the US Army. He was born October 14, 1928 in Du Quoin, IL, the son of Alva and Gertrude (Campbell) Jackson. He married Betty (George) Jackson on July 22, 1967 at Wilson Chapel Christian Union Church. He is survived by his wife Betty and their dog Buddy along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers (Loren Jackson, Kenneth Jackson and Paul Eugene Jackson) His sister Irma Michael died on March 20, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. There will be no services, Mr. Jackson's wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
