Douglas Smith VISITATION: 1:15 p.m. until service time Saturday Samuel Thornburg, 57, of Wallace Avenue, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at his home. Survivors include his mother, June Thornburg of Columbus; sons, Kevin (Bobbie) Thornburg, Columbus, and Curt Thornburg, North Vernon; sisters, Jill Childress and Diana Thornburg, both of Columbus; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Thornburg.
