VISITATION: Calling hours will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Robert L. "Mr. Bob" Hurt, 70, of Columbus passed away at 2:50 a.m. December 24, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Hurt was a retired truck driver and mechanic. Robert was born on February 1, 1943 in Nicholasvile, KY to the late J.W. Hurt and Virginia (Reynolds) Hurt. He married Jami L. (Smith)Hurt on December 13, 1986 and she survives. He is also survived by sons, Tyler Hurt of Columbus,IN; Robert Hurt II and Tony Hurt both of Kentucky; daughters, Erika Hurt of Columbus, IN and Jenny (H.R.) Bailey of Kentucky. brother, Billy (Mary) Hurt of Kentucky; sisters, Emma (Ronnie) Curry and Peggy (Donald) Perrin both of Kentucky and 3 grandchildren survive.
