FINAL RESTING PLACE: Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. Martha Hilderbrand, 89, of rural Hope, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, George Hilderbrand; six children, Vernon (Lori) Hilderbrand of Virginia, Jerry (Sharon) Hilderbrand of South Carolina, Mary (Jim) Frazier of Michigan, Patricia (Dale) Puckett of Florida, Judy (Alex) Baker of Florida, and Teresa (Jeff) Hensley of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Although I can’t be there to say goodbye, my heart and thoughts are with all the family and friends on this most difficult day. I miss you already Grannie and I will love you and hold you in my heart forever.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I am unable to attend the services, but your family is in my prayers. I have several enjoyable memories of our times together many years ago. We all have memories of our loved ones to cherish.
