Genis Stephens, 81, of County Road 500W, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at his home. He is survived by sons, Richard Gene Burton, Michael Stephens and Jerry Lewis Stephens, all of Columbus, and Jeffrey Randall Stephens of North Vernon; a daughter, Wanda Lynn Cody of Columbus; brothers, Jimmy, Glenn, Homer, Quention and Elmer, all of Kentucky; sisters, Clotene Estes, Mary Kathy Holt and Clydene George, all of Kentucky; and five grandchildren.
