Seaborne, 82, of 25th Street, died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Dorothy was a founding member of Central Heights Church of God. She had been employed at Arvin Industries, retiring in 1994 after 34 years of service. She enjoyed going on vacations with her siblings throughout the years and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Adair County, Ky., Sept. 26, 1930, Dorothy was the daughter of Silas A. Tedder and Nettie E. Hamm Tedder. She married Herman Seaborne Feb.12, 1949. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Phyllis Parker of Columbus; sons, Doug Seaborne (Sara) of Edinburgh, IN, Wendell Seaborne (Debbie) of Alexandria, IN, and Wade Seaborne (Rosemary) of Franklin, IN; sisters, Bertha Forrest of Campbellsville, KY, Nannie Knifley of Campbellsville, KY, Betty Kilby of Columbus, IN, and Mary Ann Talbott of Madison, IN; brothers, Troy Tedder of Columbus, IN, Roy Tedder of Campbellsville, KY, and Jesse Tedder of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Misty Parker of Columbus, IN, James Seaborne (Stephanie) of Columbus, IN, Sara Rhoton (Kevin) of Anderson, IN, Ron Eddelman (Sherry) of Louisville, KY, Kim Hamlin (Mark) of Roanoke, VA, Justin Seaborne (Christine) of Fishers, IN, Craig Seaborne (Megan) of Columbus, IN, Amy Fischer of Columbus, IN, Laura Parker of Columbus, IN, and Alison Seaborne of Indianapolis, IN; and great-grandchildren, Mia Seaborne and Sam Seaborne of Columbus, IN, Eddie Seaborne and Max Seaborne of Columbus, IN, AJ Cruite and Karisma Parker of Columbus, IN, Ethan Rhoton, Jackson Rhoton, Tyson Rhoton and Weston Rhoton of Anderson, IN, Vincent Fischer and Emily Fields of Columbus, IN. I was saddened to hear of Dorothy’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of Dorothy and this family when our sons were boy hood friends. My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
