Jim’s kind heart and generous spirit will be fondly remembered as will his desire to make people smile. Jim made such a difference in our community and beyond. He will be greatly missed.
I met Jim a few years ago when I started at Athens as a medic. I will never forget the jokes and the good times with this fine man. He treated all the kids of the extended family there like they were his own. You can finally rest now Jim your work here is done. Enjoy the time with Jesus & Mildred.
Tim & Jill, So sorry for your lose. It is never easy but there are those around you who care. Remember smiles, stories and good times, forget the rest.
I remember when Jim would come into our dad’s shop and he was always a good kind man. When my sisters and I were there at the shop he would always call us boys….That is something that has always stuck with me and my middle sister…He surely will never be forgotten.
