MEMORIAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Friday May 31, 2013 at The Ridge Church VISITATION: 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral home and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Mausoleum Robert A. "Bob" Piskie, 76, longtime resident of Columbus, passed away last Saturday morning, May 18, 2013. Survivors include a brother, Larry (Colette) Piskie, and a sister, Mary Lou (Gary) Dahl, both of Marengo, IL; daughters, Susan Lauermann of Hanover, MA, Lauren (Chris) McDevitt of Richmond, VA, Holly Piskie of Royal Oak, MI, and Julie Moss of Columbus, IN; a son, Michael (Megan) Piskie of Royal Oak, MI; grandsons, Scottie Lauermann, Sean McDevitt, Henry and William Piskie, and Blake Moss; and granddaughters, Sarah Lauermann, Caitlyn and Caroline McDevitt, and Brooke Moss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman August Piskie and Elda Lucille Smith Piskie, and brother, Donald (Pat) Piskie, all of Marengo, IL. Bob attended Marengo Community High School in Marengo, IL, and received B.A. and M.B.A. degrees in Economics from the University of Illinois. He retired from Cummins Inc. with 35 years of service. He has been a dear friend of Bill Wilson since 1981.
