Gribbins, 72, of Midway Street, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Phyllis retired from GTR Plastics. She enjoyed spending time at family events, gardening and attending country music concerts. She was a member of Hawcreek Missionary Baptist Church. Born in Alexandria, IN Aug. 4, 1940, Phyllis was the daughter of Charles Noel and Juanita Ramsey Noel. She married Robert G. Gribbins April 20, 1968. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 2008. Survivors include a son, Robert G. "Rob" Gribbins Jr., Columbus, IN; a daughter, Barbara (Jon) Castetter, Columbus, IN; a grandson, Hunter Senn, Daytona, FL; brothers, Virgil (Martha) Noel of Indianapolis, IN, and George (Sylvia) Noel of Martinsville, IN; sisters, Peggy (Raymond) Ferguson of Edinburgh,IN, and Mary (Barry) Roof of Lawrenceburg, IN; and a brother-in-law, Doug Brumley, Franklin, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Virginia Brumley.
