Clint Darwin Hicks, 59, of Columbus, died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Clint was employed in the auto sales business in Columbus. His passion was anything sports related, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 4, in Lubbock, Texas. Inurnment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Lubbock. A memorial service is planned in Columbus at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clint Darwin Hicks Memorial Fund established through the funeral home. Born in Matador, Texas, Sept. 24, 1953, Clint was the son of Clint Jefferson Hicks and Arvil Ayleen Woodruff Hicks. He married Kim Bradley June 27, 1989. Survivors include his wife; a son, Clint Jason Hicks of California; a daughter, Alexa Alene Hicks of Columbus; grandchildren, Savanah Jane Stephenson and Eli Jackson Shafer; and sisters, Brenda Williamson and Treva Lininger, both of Lubbock, Texas.
